Concord pioneered the use of steel props and fire-resisting ceilings and built the first high rise 20-storied building with a basement at Motijheel.

The World Trade Center Chittagong is a 90.70 meters (297.6 feet), 21-floor complex located in Agrabad Commercial Area, Chittagong, Bangladesh. The building was opened in 2016.  This is the first World Trade Center in Bangladesh. Concord introduced and implemented Top Down construction technology for the first time in Bangladesh in the construction of this building.

The Islamic Development Bank Bhaban is a landmark project by Concord. It is situated in Agargaon and was completed in 1994.

Jiban Bima Tower is a high-rise commercial building located in Motijheel. It rises to a height of 84.62 m (278 ft) and was the tallest building at the time. Currently, the head office of Jiban Bima Corporation Bangladesh is located here along with other banks and offices. It was constructed by Concord.

Janata Bank Tower is the head office building of Janata Bank in Motijheel. It is 77.18 metres (253.2 ft) high and has 24 floors. It was constructed by Concord in 1985 and was the tallest building in the country at the time.

The VVIP Terminal at the Hazrat Shahjajal International Airport was constructed by Concord.

Fantasy Kingdom in Ashulia, Dhaka and Foy’s Lake in Chottogram are two of the biggest theme parks in the country, set up by Concord. Fantasy Kingdom comprises of 2 dry parks, a water park, a theme hotel and a go-kart track. Foy’s Lake has a dry park, a water park and a theme hotel set over 300 acres of rolling hills surrounding the beautiful Foy’s Lake

Concord has always been at the forefront of introducing new technology and construction technologies in their field. Concord set up Bangladesh’s first commercial ready-mix concrete plants in 1987. To meet the growing demand for the construction industry, Concord set up a brand new plant (Schwing-Stetter, Germany) in Shalna in 2020 and Bangladesh’s first environmentally friendly green brick/block plant in 1998. Concord now operates 4 green brick and block factories and 5 ready-mix concert factories with a fleet of truck mixers. In recognition of their contribution to the construction industry, concord received the Bangladesh Government’s National Environment Award 2020

Lake City Concord is Bangladesh’s first satellite township project. The project has 4000 apartment units and all support facilities (their own school, mosque, gym, mall, and commercial building). The project was constructed using a Reinforced Concrete Building Masonry system for the first time in Bangladesh.

Singapore City Telecommunications Center Building: This 720-foot tall, iconic and technically challenging structure was constructed by Concord in Singapore in association with Sumimoto Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd.

Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is the principal international airport serving Bangladesh and its largest city, Dhaka. It is located in Kurmitola, 17 kilometers (11 mi) from the city centre, in the northern part of Dhaka.  It was constructed by Concord in 1980.

The National Martyrs’ Memorial (Bengali: জাতীয় স্মৃতি সৌধ Jatiyo Sriti Soudho) is the national monument of Bangladesh, set up in the memory of those who died in the Bangladesh War of Independence of 1971. The monument is located in Savar, about 35 km northwest of the capital, Dhaka. It was designed by Syed Mainul Hossain and built by Concord in 1982 in an astounding 89 days.

A New Milestone: Concord is proud of the part we played in constructing the New Airport Terminal. This is a great leap for our economy and a symbol of pride for the nation.
Concord also constructed the original Hazrat Shahjalal Airport and the VVIP Terminal over four decades ago.
